Role Description: Concrete Finisher / Construction Crew Member

We’re looking for a skilled Concrete Finisher ready to grow into a broader construction and electrical role.

In this full-time position, you’ll apply your concrete expertise across a variety of job sites—while also gaining valuable hands-on experience in conduit and electrical equipment installation. Concrete work will represent about 30% of your tasks, with the remaining time focused on learning and performing other construction duties. This is an excellent opportunity to turn your existing trade skills into a long-term career in a growing industry.

Our projects span across the region, with most work scheduled Monday through Friday. Travel is required, but crews are typically home on weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Smooth and finish poured concrete (floors, sidewalks, curbs, etc.)

• Set forms and perform flatwork, including layout and carpentry related to concrete

• Mix, pour, level, and shape concrete using hand and power tools

• Install conduit and electrical equipment (training provided)

• Assist with general construction and installation tasks

• Operate heavy equipment as required

• Maintain a clean, safe work site and follow all safety protocols

Qualifications

• Proven experience in concrete finishing, formwork, and flatwork

• Valid drivers license

• Skilled in using power tools and heavy equipment

• Basic carpentry skills, especially related to concrete structures

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in all weather

• Team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic

• Willingness to travel and learn new trades

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings is a plus

Duties

• Prepare and reinforce structures for concrete pours

• Execute concrete placement and finishing tasks

• Handle materials, clean up job sites, and support project setup

• Participate in equipment operation, site safety, and repair work

• Support electrical and conduit installation alongside experienced crew
