We are seeking a hands-on Ductile Iron Fabricator for an exciting career opportunity in the Birmingham, AL area!

Qualified candidates will have at least 5 years of experience fabricating ductile iron spools, wall pipes, etc., and a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated and a team leader. An ability to read technical drawings is essential for this position.

Responsibilities/Requirements/Qualifications:

• Marking, measuring, and cutting ductile iron pipes.
• Welding collars, weld-olets on ductile.
• Testing piping systems for leaks.
• Troubleshoot issues with fabrication or equipment
• Follow OSHA safety guidelines

Fabrication Technician Requirements and Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of piping systems.
• Proficiency in various welding techniques or knowledge to train
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Knowledge of materials and tools used in pipe fabrication.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication skills.
