Personal Assistant – Center City, Philadelphia (30 hrs/week)

A dynamic and fast-paced household in Center City, Philadelphia is seeking an experienced, self-starting Personal Assistant to provide high-level support across a wide range of personal, family, and creative responsibilities. This is a 30-hour/week salaried position (with flexibility), offering $40/hour, plus bonuses and perks.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-energy environment with young children, has a strong sense of organization, and can confidently keep up with the pace of a constantly evolving to-do list. You’ll be a key partner in keeping life, family, and creative work running smoothly.

Position Highlights:

  • Location: Center City, Philadelphia

  • Schedule: 30 flexible hours/week (on average)

  • Compensation: $40/hour + annual bonus + additional perks

  • Transportation: Must be able to get around easily without guaranteed parking. A car is helpful (for errands and returns), but not required daily.

You Are:

  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented

  • A self-starter who takes initiative and sees what needs to be done

  • Comfortable working independently with instructions delivered via email or phone

  • Energized by the chaos and joy of life with young kids

  • Adaptable and flexible—no two days will be the same

  • Skilled at creating systems and schedules that keep life flowing

  • A clear communicator with a can-do, proactive mindset

  • Comfortable handling errands, tracking details, and helping manage a household

  • Someone who genuinely enjoys being a helpful right hand to a high-energy, driven individual

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Weekly “brain dump” sessions to help turn ideas and to-dos into actionable plans

  • Create and maintain weekly schedules and checklists for both employer and family

  • Manage family calendar and schedule appointments, events, and activities

  • Coordinate travel arrangements and bookings

  • Run errands: pick up/drop off packages, process returns, dry cleaning, groceries, etc.

  • Help keep email inboxes and communication organized and up to date

  • Organize and maintain home and studio spaces in collaboration with professional organizers

  • Assist with household and construction projects (city home, country home, art studio)

  • Support creative practice and tasks related to employer’s art and design work

  • Collaborate with household staff (including organizers, nanny, and others)

  • Provide occasional support with kids or family logistics, if needed

Bonus (But Not Required):

  • Willingness to babysit occasionally or lend an extra hand with the children

  • Experience coordinating or assisting with family/home construction projects

  • Ability to assist in managing tasks related to the employer’s mother’s care/support

Your Impact:

The right candidate will be a key thought partner in helping bring structure and systems to a busy, ambitious life. You’ll help streamline day-to-day logistics, stay ahead of family obligations, and make it easier to focus on what matters most. You’ll help translate goals into plans, ideas into actions, and bring a sense of calm to a wonderfully full life.
