About the Role

NETbuilder is seeking a Senior GCP Cloud Consultant to help clients design, build, and optimize modern Google Cloud solutions. In this role, you will lead the architecture and implementation of secure, scalable, and automated GCP environments that support enterprise transformation initiatives.

You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to deliver high-impact cloud-native solutions, leveraging your deep knowledge of GCP infrastructure, automation, and best practices.

The role can be based at any of the above locations. Please state your preference in your application.

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement infrastructure solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Collaborate with customers to drive scalable and cost-effective cloud adoption
• Lead discussions around cloud architecture, security, and DevOps best practices
• Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform
• Deploy and manage containerized and serverless workloads (e.g., Kubernetes, GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions)
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment strategies (e.g., GitOps)
• Set up observability and monitoring tools using GCP Operations Suite, Prometheus, or Grafana
• Contribute to cloud security, compliance, and cost optimization initiatives
• Work alongside engineering and DevOps teams to deliver full-lifecycle solutions

What You Bring

• 3–5 years of hands-on GCP consulting or engineering experience
• Strong expertise in GCP networking (VPCs, load balancing), compute (GCE, GKE), and automation
• Proficiency with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Cloud Build, GitHub Actions)
• Scripting experience with Python, Bash, or similar languages
• Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with GitOps workflows and modern deployment practices
• Strong knowledge of cloud security, IAM, and secrets management
• Excellent communication and consultative skills with the ability to engage directly with clients and stakeholders
