Job Summary

W e are seeking a Site HSE Officer to join our project team in Boise, Idaho. This is a full-time, on-site, night shift position with a projected start at the end of July 2025. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) initiatives across a dynamic construction environment and ensuring the implementation of Air Liquide’s E&C safety standards.

Job Description

• Implement and continuously improve project safety procedures based on E&C standards.
• Issue work permits and monitor ongoing safety conditions on-site.
• Execute emergency safety protocols during incidents or hazardous events.
• Maintain accurate manpower headcount records on-site.
• Deliver safety training programs to employees (construction & site-related topics).
• Assess and apply client-specific HSE requirements within the project organization.
• Assist contractors in aligning with Air Liquide’s HSE systems and expectations.
• Conduct hazard identification and support the creation of related safety documentation.
• Support and/or lead investigations into safety events; maintain reporting and documentation.
• Drive deployment of site-wide safety campaigns and ensure consistent implementation.
• Perform HSE audits and inspections to validate compliance and promote safe practices.
• Contribute to the development and updating of E&C safety standards and procedures.
• Participate in improving the Site HSE Management System through lessons learned.

Skills Required

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in construction HSE roles.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Authorized to deliver regulatory and safety training (e.g., site safety, confined space, scaffolding, LO/TO, electrical safety, etc.).
• Strong technical understanding of construction safety and gas/chemical risk environments.
• Familiarity with engineering and construction project phases, including commissioning.
• Experience with safety practices in construction sites and/or manufacturing environments.

Education

• Higher education in Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) or a related discipline.

Additional Requirements

• OSHA 30 certification (minimum).
