Job Description

This is a bilingual position. You must speak spanish.

Boston Speech Therapy is excited to announce an opening for a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA). We are looking for a dedicated professional who can support our diverse clientele in achieving their speech and language goals. In this role, you will work closely with licensed Speech Language Pathologists to provide effective therapy services in both English and another language. The position offers competitive pay ranging from $50 to $52 per hour, and you will play a key role in fostering communication skills among individuals from various cultural backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist licensed Speech Language Pathologists in assessments and therapy sessions for bilingual clients.
  • Implement tailored treatment plans as directed by the Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Document client progress, ensuring accurate and timely records.
  • Facilitate communication skill development in both English and the second language.
  • Collaborate with therapists and educators to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
  • Engage in ongoing training and professional development focused on bilingual therapy practices.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Current certification or licensure as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
  • Fluency in English and another language (Spanish preferred).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records.
  • Open to continuous learning and adapting to diverse client needs.
