Winemaker
Celestial Hill is a boutique organic vineyard and winery producing 2,000 cases of estate pinot noir and chardonnay. Vines were planted from 2001-2007. The winery and barrel cave were completed in April 2025. We are currently seeking an excellent team player wanting to be part of a small team driven to make the highest quality wines. Sales are 90% DTC, so this is a highly client centric environment. In addition, we have partners who do custom crush at our facility.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities are all wine production tasks. You will work with an Executive Wine Maker (engaged via a consulting role), the owner, a harvest intern and a farm helper in doing your work. Given our small size, the ideal candidate will be able to wear multiple hats and help out across all elements of the business as appropriate. No or very limited capacity is expected with regard to sales with the exception of supporting other team members with sales efforts as needed.

•  Degree in Enology, Viticulture, or related field and/or winemaking experience totaling 5 years is preferred
•  People-oriented and results driven
•  A strong collaborator that is supportive of the team
•  Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
•  Able to manage the physical elements of the role including lifting empty barrels, cases of wine, cleaning equipment and be forklift certification
•  Office 365 experience- proficient in outlook, excel, word
•  Bachelor’s or Associates degree
•  Highly organized
•  Maintain clean work environment
•  Flexible with the ability to manage surprises and solve problems
•  Positive mental attitude, self-motivated, self-starter, high energy, professional and punctual.

This key role will be a true partner to the owners. Helping them run the winery and other aspects of the business as possible and reasonable. The ideal candidate will be excited to be part of team and playing a strategic role that is valued wanting to help build the brand and business.

Compensation
The salary is TBD based on experience and will be competitive. Bonus eligible. Health insurance provided.
